Super GT Sepang 2009 – The Cars (Part 1)

Super GT in Sepang International Circuit

Super GT in Sepang International Circuit

So, I got the media pass for Super GT in Sepang that day. The event was being held from 19th to 21st of June. I kinda delighted to have such opportunity since I’ve never been to any event such as this. This was my first time ever in Sepang International Circuit. It’s kinda funny tho to have a media pass since I don’t have any DSLR. I just brought along my LX3 with that tiny TelePhoto Lens. Being a nubfag, I was following around my colleague within the area. Well, first we had to take our media pass from the information counter along with parking sticker. The parking is near the paddock where we had to take the media vest from the media center. Additionally, we had to pay RM 100 for each member as a deposit in case we lost the vest and such. That’s for the first day. The second day is where I took many pictures of the cars on the track. Since this is a two-part post, I put on the first gallery here.

Oh, I did take some videos as well.

Now, for the second part…

Escape 2 Africa

Have you watched Madagascar 2? Personally speaking, I seldom put my interest with 3D animation movies especially from Hollywood. It’s usually cater for kids and the Americans seldom making real-to-life 3D animation movies (I can tell why as it’s too expensive). Well, Indra asked me to watch this sequel of Madagascar animation movie on Saturday night. Don’t pity me. I don’t have girlfriend, m’kay? So I only going out with male friends to watch movies…. so far, duh.

THIS IS MADAGASCAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAR!
THIS IS MADAGASCAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAR!

A fun movie I might say. I had my time enjoying this comedy stuff. I didn’t put much thought on watching or even put higher expectation with it. Previously, I was watching movies like Over the Hedge. Not a bad thing but too much yada yada thingy with family-like relationship. However, in Madagascar 2, there’s still friendship and family matters. Though, it’s blend well with the sporadic comedy moments throughout the movie. Makunga’s hair, Moto Moto’s same lines for flirting, that old granny, herd of Marties and of course the Penguins. After several srs biz movies I watched recently, this movie did make me feel a different enjoyment. After watching emo stuffs like Quantum of Solace or Max Payne, Madagascar 2 is a cure for your mental damages, lol. Oh, I haven’t watched Tropic Thunder yet.

On the other note, I went to workshop today to get my car service. Well, the car hadn’t move around much but the last time it was getting its service was 6-7 months ago. Oh well, so the men there changing oil and fixing stuffs for my car. But the automatic gear oil was leaking and it needed to be fix and require new oil. After all the bla bla shit, it cost me RM 178. OMGWTFBBQ. Then again, I haven’t sent my car for service for such a long time, pish. Well, that’s service matters. While it feels macho as in better driving, the car’s alignment seemed unaligned. Crap, that’s what I thought. Another RM 30 will fly away just to fix the alignment. So I went to a tyre workshop. While the dudes there positioning the car at the ramp, one of them realized that one of the tyres was kinda flattened. Was it punctured? OMGWTFBBQx2 there’s a screw! The screw punctured the tyre but no big deal as it can be patched up. But the most WTF moment was when the chambers needed to be replaced. In the end, the total was RM 95 compared to RM 30 from what I expected. So, RM 178 + RM 95 = RM 273.

Aww fuck
Aww fuck

Before I finish this, I found something amused at the tyre shop just now.
