God Knows by MPLS

By maskawaih, March 1, 2010 3:57 AM

So, this is the video of God Knows by MPLS or /AS/ Band. Yes, I know I kinda agitated with the use of that group name but here, the video of the group itself after several fffffffffuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuu- up compiles by myclamyra himself.

From top left, clockwise: chiaki (drummer), SonJa a.k.a. incubusskj (rhythm guitar), myclamyra (bass), Eccentrical (lead guitar thwang thwang). Middle: lovesummer a.k.a. natsu (singer). Gut gemacht.

Darou ne?

I was at myclamyra’s house with other friends yesterday. Well, they’re doing some music recordings. The idea was to have a few people with talents gather up and do the recording. But it turned out several more people came along (sorry myclamyra lol). Anyway, we were recording God Knows song. Apart from myclamyra handling the bass, Eccentrical with guitar and chiaki with the drums, we had lovesummer for the vocal. Yeah, finally a girl for the singer. Well, uh, she’s from other community forum. Not from Lowyat.Net btw. Also, I took my chance to do simple photoshoot with my Nendroids, Kirisame Marisa and Hakurei Reimu.

Hee... :D

So there were like… how many people? Hmm, let’s see; myclamyra, Eccentrical, chiaki, lovesummer, Czero, ultimaweaponx, kusakabemisao, lightnokira, wanvadder and me. Basically, only 4 people were really required for the recording. Actually, the people that have almost to zero talents of playing instruments would be me, ultimaweaponx, wanvadder and Czero. Well, Czero is trying to learn drums tho. At least he got people who can teach him unlike me with my dusty violin. ultimaweaponx and me were trying to be helpful by recording videos of the recording session, teehee…

Oh!

By maskawaih, January 27, 2010 3:35 PM

Oh!

Girls Generation will be releasing it’s brand new album tomorrow with the title Oh! In conjunction with that, a song which also entitled as Oh! has been publicly aired through radio (and internet) before the release. So, the music video for the song has also been released yesterday. Being an infamous Koreans band, people are cool enough to rip the song and video plus took some of their precious time to romanize those Hangul lyrics. As usual, the song is catchy. I am not really a die hard fan but I do like their songs. This new song is pretty much great.

TV Animation Umineko no Naku Koro Ni Character Songs Vol. 1

TV Animation Umineko no Naku Koro Ni Character Songs Vol. 1

I’ve been listening to these songs. Songs from Umineko no Naku Koro Ni Character Songs Vol. 1 by Ushiromiya Maria and Ushiromiya Jessica. Both Horie Yui (seiyuu of Maria) and Inoue Marina (Jessica) are my all time favorite seiyuu. What are these songs basically? lol I don’t really know but truly it’s full of happiness, craziness, wonderful and full of moe. Hocchan (Horie Yui) is so wonderful in her song, Happy Halloween Maria.

Chocolate Love

Chocolate Rain... oops, Love.

Chocolate Rain... oops, Love.

Here comes the famous 9 girls korean band, again, with another music video which is in accordance with LG’s new phone. They’re like being some ambassadors to LG itself to promote the phone with sexy legs. Despite that I am not fancy with any single of them for being look too similar with each other, it’s kind of entertaining to watch them dance in unison. Especially the bare legs. Hey, they look so classic this time. The costume I mean. I think the song isn’t as cool as Gee gee gee song but still catchy.

Shikata Akiko

Shikata Akiko

Shikata Akiko

The opening song of animu Umineko no Naku Koro Ni was sung by her. I believe some might wonder what kind of song is that. Sounds like some song being inserted with Latin words which makes it sound cool, literally. Shikata Akiko, her name itself makes me thinking something else. Well, “shikata ga nai” brings a meaning of “it can’t be helped” (the phrase has a quite heavy meaning if you look here). I am not sure about her age. Might have been enclosed from the public. Apart from being a singer, she’s also a composer and as well as writing the lyrics plus other arrangements. According to Wikipedia, her ethnic, classical tunes actually gains some popularity after she started her career. It was through a doujin circle, VAGRANCY, which she formed in 2001. During the old days, I did have some sort of listening and downloading to a few songs from Comiket (apart from obvious reason for downloading stuffs from CM) though later on, I preferred something mainstream.

Tell Me Your Wish

By maskawaih, July 2, 2009 5:26 PM

A week ago, the hot-but-template-faces-and-also-somewhat-lookalike Korean girls of SNSD (Girls’ Generation) has released their second mini album this year, Genie. Previously, Gee song was so catchy that made me listening the song again and again (and nearly deaf) and for this time is a brand new song called Tell Me Your Wish (Genie). Pretty nice song although the tune kinda familiar. Apparently, the mini album was supposed to be released on 22nd of June but controversial album cover that look like Japanese WWII airplane so it has to be redone. The mini album was re-released on 29th of June. There’s also the music clip available on the Youtube.

Fiddlestick

By maskawaih, June 16, 2009 12:59 PM

No, I am not talking nonsense. I am somewhat making my old dream alive again. Maybe only a few of you knew about my old stuffs where I kinda interested to play a violin. I tried to find my old posts again when I was using Limbo but it’s broken. Frankly, I was even playing around with the violin case like putting my airsoft AK-47 inside just to mimic those assassins. Although I supposed to learn to play the damn thing rather than wasting it up. If I recalled correctly, I purchased the violin for about RM 300++ at Mid Valley. I think around the year 2005. I didn’t touch the thing for sometime. Until I got to know several musicians or at least people who know about music a little bit like eccentrical and others.

Well, yeah. I forgot almost everything about music...

Well, yeah. I forgot almost everything about music...

After a brief fiddling around the violin and reading the guides, I remember back on how to play simple scores. As usual, easy song like Ode to Joy by Beethoven was chosen. Simply because this was the song I fiddle around back then. But I am still a newbie. Thinking of getting fully understand the whole song and master it. >:3
