In less than 90 years, we will be looking at the future. The future of 22nd century. Well, not really. Since Wikipedia says that 22nd century will only begin at January 1, 2101. However, it’s pretty interesting to predict how the future would be. Well, prediction is not easy considering how volatile the the history is. While I am pretty much influenced by George Friedman’s The Next 100 Years, it’s true that within 20 years of 20th century, a lot of things happened which people who lived in the year 1900 didn’t expect such thing may happen in their future.

World of Me
Before I proceed to my rants, I would like to say something about my last post on journey to Sabah. Some friends have been asking me if I really did left Azunyan in Sabah. Well, yes, she is currently with my sister, Irene, there. Of course that this is not about real, blood-related sister. Actually, I’ve been giving some other plushies to my other sisters. I gave a plushie of Tachibana Kanade (Angel Beats!) to Arisa and Kuroneko (OreImo) to Pammy. Nothing biggie and one might be wondering why I am so generous on giving such things to them.

My Room
A usual otaku room would be untidy. Well, that was it with my room before. I took some liberty to clean up the room, tossing away trashes, vacuum cleaning, and everything to make my room to be more like a living space. So, here are the pics of my clean and tidy room.
Pretty much I am contented with it.
Being Random
Some of you might have knew about this already where I am no longer interested to buy figurines anymore. My last preorder was made way back months before and that’s gonna be Tainaka Ritsu from Alter which gonna be completing my K-On! Alter figurines collection. Of course that there are several more, I mean, a few more preorders for figurines like that army of Popura from Working!! anime and… I don’t remember. I thought that when I stopped buying figurines, I could save more money. Sadly, my interest has been changed and I bought different kind of things. Continue reading
Japan’s Unity
Yes, I know that everyone blogs and tweets about it. The earthquake and tsunami in Japan. I bet some of you know the details much much more than me. The Richter scale, the tsunami radius, time line, number of casualties, etc. When I heard about it on Friday through Twitter, I immediately turned on the television and at that time, I wished I had more TVs so that I can watch CNN, BBC, Al Jazeera and Awani at the same time. But news on those channels are not that updated so I opted to live streams of JNN which was available almost instantly on the net. Continue reading
Economics: Now and Then
As much as the government boasting that Malaysia being an advanced country in various aspect, it is still a developing country. Heck, even if they put ‘advanced’ status upon some states or cities out there, they still need to boil or filter the tap water themselves before drinking. While we can say that facilities and infrastructures in Malaysia are decent and some being pretty good, let’s not forget that these only applicable towards major cities. Major city improvements are mostly centered towards Kuala Lumpur and areas surrounding it. It’s a good effort since centralization development is the best way for developing countries rather than spreading out. Generally, people are doing good but why there are lacking here and there? Continue reading
Wall of Separation
It’s already March now. So it’s been about 2 months after I changed a little bit on how I make posts in this blog. There’s also quite a little bit of change through my acts when I go for ‘voicing out’ over things that I feel I stand corrected. When we voice out, certainly the other side will receive our thoughts. But results and affects might be something unpleasant. Yet, the important thing is that to let the others know my thoughts and feeling. Or not? Continue reading
A Normal Day Out
For years, I’ve been socializing with friends. No, it is not about online social network. I do meet my friends in real life or offline meeting like what the Westerners love to call. There are several kind of friends. But surely, the ones that I always have going out are those who usually have the same of my interest. Anime. Manga. Japan. Cosplay. Figurines. Games. Gundam. Wait, gundam isn’t my interest actually although I like the idea of assembling those gunpla. So, yeah, otakuism. By standard, the level of otakuism in this country is pretty much still very low. While some people can say that they’re actually watching some anime, that doesn’t mean that they already became an instant otaku. Just for a change, I went out with my friends. Normal ones. Continue reading
Youngest
What’s your hierarchy or rank or position or role in your family? While I am pointing at a larger family relation involving siblings and parents, I don’t really mind if you have your own stories involving other people within your family tree. Being the youngest or the eldest or maybe a single in a family might have their own stories. But there’s one particular thing that I’ve always heard during my younger times where the youngest sibling to be the golden child of the family or at least parents. Continue reading
