I didn’t expect for me to buy CD single of another seiyuu that other than Chihara Minori and Taketatsu Ayana. Heck, I never have any CD from Ayanyan yet as we speak. Actually, this is something I really wanted to get as otaku fags mostly are not interested to get a CD single of a seiyuu that its song doesn’t related with anime at all. Yes, Kotobuki Minako’s Startline is her second single after Shiny+ (which I wanted to get that as well but..) and this single that I bought is included with a DVD as well (… when I wanted to get Shiny+ with DVD, it’s already sold out). By the means of ‘otaku fags’ are anime fags CD rippers who didn’t rip her single and the PV on the DVD. Apart from Mina-chan, I wanted to get singles of Toyosaki Aki. Alas, her stuffs are even more rare to get (except CD singles without DVDs). Along with Mina-chan’s Starline, I purchased Sphere photobook that turned out to be grand with hardcover. Not bad for a 3000 yen photobook.

Senjougahara Cosplay Shoot
First day of the new year of 2011, I went to Glenmarie in Shah Alam for a cosplay photoshoot. Presented by Arisa who cosplayed as Hitagi Senjougahara from Bakemonogatari. As some of you might know, the character is well known to have a lot of stationary products with her. Together with KC Lee, linkinstreet and E-jump, we went to an abandoned factory building there for the shoot. Ironically, Arisa never really watch the show as she told me yet she’s able to give the best of the character out of her cosplay. Continue reading
Putrajaya Shoot
This shoot was like more than a month ago. Barely after guest18 went back to Malaysia from his studies in New Zealand, he asked linkinstreet and I for some sightseeing around Putrajaya while taking some shoot there. It was during the night and we went straight to the high court building area before a sudden weather change that made us retire to a roofed area which was the Putrajaya Sentral. Not really a cool place for scenery shooting but the area is pretty large and almost midnight means less people around there. I mean, no other people at all except some guard patrolling the area once in an hour. Prior to this, linkin asked me if I can bring along my K-On! Alter figurines as the only object guest18 brought was his beloved Shiryuu figurine. So I brought along 5 figurines of Hirasawa Yui, Nakano Azusa, Kotobuki Tsumugi and Akiyama Mio (2 versions). Shake, Fist and Pat
So, I went to this anime event last Sunday at Sunway University College. In Sunway of course. The event is called Animangaki 2010. Yes, it is a yearly event and as usual, full of otaku there despite you have to pay if you want to enter. Unlike last year, this year’s event is said to have gathered more visitors. From what I heard, the organizer was targeting 600 visitors with at most 800. Yet, the visitors count went up to 1400 and the gatekeeper kinda laxing towards the end of the event where some of my buddies entered the hall without paying anything. At the 4th floor, the Multi Purpose Hall might be more than enough for these creeps but really, at the peak time, there were crowded as hell. Met a lot of friends there. New ones, old ones. Fun time, nevertheless.
I went there quite late actually. Just before noon, my friends and I arrived there. Since some of us never been there (like me for instance), the GPS kinda trolled us to the other side of the college but it was good after all since we got to park our car for free. If you park inside, you will be charged with… I don’t know how much. Never mind that but we’re needed to pay for entrance of the event. It’s RM 10 for normal visitors and RM 8 for cosplayers. I never really had a thought in my mind to enter the place as a cosplayer. Well, we did bring some weapons with some hats or whatever we can just to add some fun to the event like we did previously in Comic Fiesta and GACC. But since they asked whether we enter there as a normal visitor or cosplayer, I chose the latter (since I got some stuffs that can be considered as that). Be in mind that my interest to do cosplay is not as much as my interest to see cute girls to cosplay. Continue reading
Yamada Aoi
Hey, I know it’s just from last season’s anime. Working!! was an anime that we can conclude as watch-and-forget. It’s fun but less impact. Talking bad about the anime, aye? Anyway, Yamada’s quite an interesting character and I like her very much. I liked Poplar as well but in most cases, she’s kinda a busybody person who tried to help but ended up failing. While Yamada is a troublemaker and always getting yelled at. Despite that, she’s a cute little girl with childish acts.

Hinata to Yui
Had these images already in my HDD for some time. Hinata and Yui of Angel Beats! They looked so cute together. So I decided to post them on my blog after I hadn’t create any in awhile.
Yui and Mio Photoshoot
This was actually taken several days ago. In all, there are 180 pictures I took with my LX3 (only a third of them being displayed here). I even testing around with my flash gun but turned out that bokeh pictures weren’t that good with the flash. Perhaps I need more practices or there might be settings that I did not know. Like Mio’s photoshoot previously, I was using Aperture Priority mode for this time too (F2.0, ISO 200). I didn’t use RAW by the way since I don’t have Lightroom for easier editing of images. LX3 is using RW2 format for it’s own RAW images that requires either 3rd party image editing software that supports it or it’s own plugins (which the installer doesn’t work on 64bit version of Windows 7 that I am currently using). Anyway, let’s have a look at Alter version of Yui and Mio figya below.
Bokeh-ing Mio
From my last entry about Alter’s Akiyama Mio, I decided to create a photoshoot gallery of the figurine. Being a newfag in photography, I don’t know much about techniques and know-how. Also, I don’t have any DSLR to begin with. I just used my only digital camera, Panasonic Lumix LX3. One of the famous technique in photography is bokeh. It is something like a blur image or out of focus, intentionally. People usually tried to focus on the object that they want while blurring the other parts which are not in the focus. So, I just playing around with the settings and I present you this gallery.
Tenshi
One of the best characters for anime of this season. Previously, Angel Beats was pretty much infamous being a product of Key, the creator of Kanon, Air and Clannad, and it was Yurippe who actually made it controversial appearance being similar to that so-called God, Suzumiya Haruhi from other anime. Despite being a victim of actual comparison to the latter, Angel Beats holds its own ground with a good storyline and some tacticool stuffs. Tenshi, a somewhat celestial being, who being a target of Yurippe with an anti-material sniper rifle has her popularity rising to that of everyone’s waifu.
- Nopan
Pretty amazing I must say. Just within some weeks of airing, there are a lot of her images on imageboards by fans. I only put a hundred of those here.
Realistic Drawing
Looking through images around the net and then stumbled upon some nicely drawn images. Something that are more realistic for anime characters to be drawn in such way. Some are like oil paintings. I do wish if I could draw like these.
