Miku Commands You to Vote for Malaysia!

Vote for Malaysia, you motherfucker!

Vote for Malaysia, you motherfucker!

Hear that lads? Vote for Malaysia goddamn it! Go to this Hatsune Miku World Tour site, post comment at the first blog post and make sure your text field for Country is written as Malaysia. We need more than 10,000 signatures. We do not condone any act of treason by putting in other than that. Any perpetrators that lead to the demise of the results will be hunt to the end of the world and the punishment will be skinning while you’re still live. Your skins will be made into kompang or rebana so that we could replace drums as musical instruments. Your bones will be turned into drum sticks. Your blood vessels will be used for guitar strings. Your ribs will be made as piano keys.

Hatsune Miku World Tour

Hatsune Miku World Tour

*back to normal* Oh, well. It seems that SEGA would like to have Hatsune Miku World Tour concerts to be held in various places in the world. The site link given above will be used to gather votes from different countries where any countries that have more than 10,000 votes will be chosen by SEGA as candidates for the tour.

I am not really a fan of Vocaloid (especially the voices though I am fine with others) plus the concert would likely to be something like a virtual singer singing on the stage with actual band plays at the back. But I would be really really love to have such concert to be made available in Malaysia. I don’t mind to pay just to get a chance getting in a hall for something like this. It’s gonna be fun.

Bon Odori 2010 Shah Alam

There were only few people at the beginning...

There were only few people at the beginning...

So I went to this Japanese cultural festival called Bon Odori which was held at Matsushita Stadium in Shah Alam last Saturday. As the event gonna be started at 5.00 PM, ultimaweaponx, yafex and I planned to go to Czero’s house in Shah Alam earlier. Well, the plan was to gather/park at his place and ride a bus from KTM station there to the stadium with others and we would like to use a new highway that partially being opened for public use namely SKVE. Around 4.00 PM, we departed from ultima’s house at Seri Kembangan all the way to SKVE. Of course that the new highway paths haven’t being applied to any existing GPS application as of yet, so it’s like a gamble that we might getting lost on the way. While we had minor detours because of lack of GPS data maps, we managed to arrive at Shah Alam pretty earlier than what we might achieve if we used the usual way through LDP, Federal or whatever the highway name was. What’s more, as soon as we exited the highway connected to ELITE highway, we immediately saw the entrance to the stadium so we decided to go there instead of going to the gathering place. The journey took about 30 minutes but we spent another 30 minutes to find parking place for my car and also strolling through from the car park to the stadium.

K-On! Live Event ~Let’s Go!~

:P

:P

K-On! Live Event ~Let’s Go!~ was the concert that was held in Yokohama Arena at the end of last year in Japan. A concert dedicated to the fans of K-On! from seiyuu of the characters. Not really sure how many were there during the concert but it is said that the capacity of the arena is 17,000. It’s safe to say that the visitor counts are around that. While I wasn’t there in the concert but I just ordered the Blu-ray copy of it from Amazon Japan :3

I decided to buy this off from the site because it’s Blu-ray, man. Well, what kind of shitty excuse was that? lol. Anyway, this Blu-ray of K-On! has became the best selling music Blu-ray in Japan so far with 22,000 copies sold in a week. I wasn’t included as one of the fags that made the record breaking though because I ordered my copy a bit later. The record even surpassed the previous record of Namie Amuro Blu-ray selling; 14,000 in a week and 21,000 copies altogether from last September. Record doesn’t mean anything much but I can conclude from here that many otaku in Japan do have Blu-ray players such as PS3. An otaku might have a PS3 to play games as well unlike normalfag. So it is normal for anime stuffs to be popular in Blu-ray format.

Bad Apples @ MAGe 2010

So, our band went to Nilai University College in Nilai, Negeri Sembilan (hell, nowhere that near to Seremban as they said) for MAGe Festa 2010 on Saturday, June 27. Nothing much that I can say about this event. One could tell that this is somewhat a small event. Few crowds. Well, I can tell NUC isn’t a big college but being an area that situated a little bit far from the town of Nilai, some people might have transportation problem to the place. The student representative dude being funny by saying that if the event was held during weekdays, more students would come. Oh yeah? We are outsiders, duh. No way in the hell we would sacrifice our working days going there and most cosplayers were from other places. Anyway, Bad Apples band was there to perform anime songs. Initially, there were a lot of problems we faced. For instance, our female vocalist, Nacchan, had sore throat and that’s madness. We had to do some quick alterations and we even called some reinforcements. yafex was trying to sing God Knows and Lost My Music medley. For Don’t Say Lazy and Listen!! we’re glad to get help from Yuki (many thanks Yuki). Of all, myclamyra considered the show was better than our last one at GACC. Now, for some pictures of MAGe. Pictures of our band on the stage was courtesy of my friend, WiseFreeman. Thanks, bro!

Masalah Berganda

Sebab blog kali ni berkaitan dengan konsert artis Melayu tempatan, aku rasa baik guna saja bahasa Melayu. Tapi agak janggal kalau tulis secara baku. Aku bukan nak buat laporan kat surat khabar Utusan pun.

Accumulated Stuffs

Huh, basically I am not sure where should I begin. Perhaps I should make separate blog posts about different things. Then again, I am kinda lazy to do that. What a hassle. But if I put everything in a single post, that would be a long post. Though if I really make separate posts, each post might filled with details and more words. Eventually, I can make all of that in a single post which might produce a much much more longer post. But I don’t think that would be a wise move to do so. On a second thought, why not? Most of the blog readers are keen to waste their times over the net through reading irrelevant materials especially regarding to their works. Haha, anyway, just let me pick some prominent things to tell guys about. Start off with GACC.

Yosh!

Stands for ‘Games, Anime, Comic Circles’, this event was held in MMU, Melaka, on 20th and 21st of March. A 2-day event. While the event was already known for years, this was my first time there. Certainly because I was not fond of anime events in previous years and Melaka isn’t that near. Well, not really that far actually. They said that the event was the Last GACC. So, why not I go there? I attended the event only on Sunday though.

iPhone 3GS and other stuffs

Aifon Tri-gee-ass

Aifon Tri-gee-ass

Finally, I am getting this baby. Honestly speaking, it’s for my company of course. I ordered the phone like 2 weeks ago, sharp. Yeah, it was on my birthday which I ordered it. The guy said something like I might be getting it about two to four weeks. I got an SMS earlier in the afternoon about this thing and immediately rushed to Berjaya Times Square to pick it up. Oh, I made my order there because I was lurking around Lowyat Plaza at that time to find some Macbooks. So, yeah, around 3 PM I drove from Bangi to BTS with my friend, Amin. As we arrived at the Maxis Center there, I saw something funny which was the ‘System Offline’ notice on their desks. The grandeur service provider in Malaysia was having problem with their connection, for all over places, as the dude there said. We had to wait. While waiting, I went to Borders to look around at those mango (which eventually I bought some later). Initially, that guy said something like we might come back there around an hour later or so. But after wasting some 20 minutes at Borders, we went back to the that Maxis outlet. Still, System Offline da yo. But not long after that, that guy at the counter called me (if I am not mistaken, his name was Ahmad Hashir or something like that). He said, he can process my iPhone 3GS now. Well, it did took sometime and finally I have iPhone 3GS. At the same time, I guess that their system didn’t ‘offline’ but simply they have slow connection or some similar technical issues because I saw some of the guys could operate the stuffs albeit slow.

Mazar-e Moe

According to Sheikh Al-Wikibidia, Mazar-e or Mazari is a Persian word which means ‘shrine’. The most renown shrine in Afghanistan is Mazar-e Sharif which means ‘Noble Shrine’. A famous place for Shia’ Muslims. But my post today is not about that infamous shrine at all. It’s about the Moe Shrine in Japan. Only in Japan (because every weird stuff exists in this world is coming from there).

Mazar-e Moe

Mazar-e Moe

This Moe Shrine is basically just like any normal Shinto shrines in Japan. There are priests and maids who perform prayer ceremonies as well as other religious stuffs. Wait a minute… did I say Maid? Instead of normal miko girls who actually served with the shrine, this Moe Shrine has it’s own specialty that replacing the miko outfit with maid outfit. This is totally fabulous for those who have a fetishism with maids (including me and I haven’t created a gallery for that yet). Visitors may have taking pictures with them too.

GoMobile 2009

GoMobile 2009

GoMobile 2009

It’s that time again. The mobile phone fair that surely will attract many visitors to come over and the convention will be at Kuala Lumpur Convention Center. If you remember about the previous entry of GoMobile last year, it was held at PWTC there. There were about 80,000 visitors back then and for this year, they’re targeting for 100,000 visitors. Well, for KLCC being bigger place plus it’s the center of Kuala Lumpur, that might be possible. I will be there again as well. Though, for this time, I will be under MSC Malaysia (last time was for UTeM). My company gets a placement inside MSC Malaysia’s booth. In all, there are 5 companies will be presenting under the MSC Malaysia banner including mine. Since this is something like PC Fair, one might be expecting a bunch of mobile broadband pushers lingering around the hall and shove up people with pamphlets. According to rules that I heard recently, a company or group that rented a booth may only do their stuffs within their booth’s boundary. They have to pay to the GoMobile if their banners or bunting were outside of booth as each square inch of the area has price. A single pusher lingering around the area has price too. The price for outside the hall is said to be RM 350 per person (not sure if it’s for a day or all 3 days) and more expensive if it’s inside the hall. If this is true (well, I heard it from a spokesperson), it may reduce the number of pushers. Heh, you might think pusher sounds so negative just like those drug dealers but yeah, I hate them anyway.

GoMobile 2009:

  • 23-25 October 2009
  • Kuala Lumpur Convention Centre
  • 23 – 24 October (Fri & Sat): 11 am – 9 pm
