Comrades

I just watched this Korean Drama called Comrades a.k.a. The Legend of Patriots. I am not really a fan of Korean stuffs but I am a fan of war movies. Historical is fine too. Comrades is about the Korean War, the war between North and South Korea, that technically still going on right now since they’re only signing a ceased fire agreement in 1953 and not a peace treaty. Centered around Lee Hyun Joong (Choi Soo Jong), a First Class Sergeant who commanded his squad, who went through many occasions from battles, covert mission, infiltration, POW plus escaping from enemy prison which later being detained by South Korean anti-communist organization only to be in another hell of mental tortures by their own side. Well, not really that comfortable since we didn’t get any kind of refreshments, at least a cup of coffee (I don’t mind sharing with them), from the organizers of Comic Fiesta so that we might have longer time of conversation with these two singers from Japan. Ceui (pronounced ‘say-ee’) and Shimokawa Mikuni (pronounced … ah never mind) are amazing artists who made appearance in this year’s Comic Fiesta in Kuala Lumpur Convention Center. Having their first time in Malaysia, it’s surely a rather new experience for them. We at Anime Shrine were glad to be given some room to meet them in-person just after their stage performance. Aoi Yuuki’s Clothing for Auction

Aoi Yuuki, the seiyuu of the infamous mysterious yet beautiful and brilliant girl Victorique from Gosick, is currently auctioning her used clothing. Apparently she put her signatures over the clothes that totally means they’re for keeping rather than being used again. The cloth is sized at XS. Largest for Small size. Heck, at 145cm, she’s pretty small. Just like many of her roles.

Just a little while ago, Aoi Yuuki was promoting Gosick BD and DVD which is delayed for May 10 due to recent disaster in Japan. Fans who attended the launch event at Akihabara’s Toranoana were given with posters and towels of the anime.

I didn’t expect for me to buy CD single of another seiyuu that other than Chihara Minori and Taketatsu Ayana. Heck, I never have any CD from Ayanyan yet as we speak. Actually, this is something I really wanted to get as otaku fags mostly are not interested to get a CD single of a seiyuu that its song doesn’t related with anime at all. Yes, Kotobuki Minako’s Startline is her second single after Shiny+ (which I wanted to get that as well but..) and this single that I bought is included with a DVD as well (… when I wanted to get Shiny+ with DVD, it’s already sold out). By the means of ‘otaku fags’ are anime fags CD rippers who didn’t rip her single and the PV on the DVD. Apart from Mina-chan, I wanted to get singles of Toyosaki Aki. Alas, her stuffs are even more rare to get (except CD singles without DVDs). Along with Mina-chan’s Starline, I purchased Sphere photobook that turned out to be grand with hardcover. Not bad for a 3000 yen photobook.

OreImo Seiyuu

There’s somewhat a festival of OreImo where its seiyuus were attending. Nothing biggie except that they’re being cute here (including Nakamura? lol).

You know what? I love that look on Kana-chan. Simply just like Kuroneko. Brosuke Nakamura looks rather uncool there. Well, when he was gaining popularity as Alto in Macross Frontier, he always had that macho and serious look. Anyway, from the front starting on left are Nabatame Hitomi (Saori Bajina), Taketatsu Ayana (Kousaka Kirino, more moe than Kirino herself) and Hanazawa Kana (Gokou Ruri @ Kuronek-hnnnnnnnnnnnnngh). On the back are Nakamura Yuuichi (Brosuke), uh, I think she is Satou Satomi (Tamura Manami) but why she looks so weird there?, and Hayami Saori (Aragaki Ayase).

Ayanyan’s Light Novel no Tanoshii Kakikata

For those who don’t know, Taketatsu Ayana’s first movie debut was called Light Novel no Tanoshii Kakikata which was released on theaters in Japan two days ago. Being a rather supportive character, it is true that the main spotlight of the story does not being focused on her.

A little bit of the summary of the story:

The story centers on Yakumo Atae, a first-year student who knows the hidden secret of his fearsome classmate Tsurugi Yabusame — while she is the school’s strongest girl, she is also a budding light novel author under the penname Mio Himemiya. Tsurugi is stuck in a huge slump while writing her new romantic comedy. Yakumo’s cousin Kokona Atae happens to be Tsurugi’s editor, and Kokona suggests that Yakumo and Tsurugi become a couple so that Tsurugi can know the experience of romance.

Never really bothered with the main male and female leads. Well, Sudou Maasa, the main female cast, actually looks like someone I know though. Anyway, people at 2ch is really having their attention with the movie because of Ayanyan herself. Taketatsu Ayana, the very well-known seiyuu especially Azunyan of K-On, recently had a photo-shoot session at some place for a magazine. As people recognized her roles on MM! as Mio and that infamous imouto of Kyousuke in Ore no Imouto ga Konna ni Wake ga Nai, it is hard to ignore her in seiyuu industry when being cute at the same time.

Yes, I know I late 2 months but I just purchased this lovely voices of seiyuu on my iPhone. Every damn minute, a new image of seiyuu appear while they tell us about the time. Yes, it is the same from Bijin Tokei creator just that this one has seiyuu in it. With iPhone OS 4 that supports multitasking, you can set alarm with it while remain background.
