Itsudemo I love You

Itsudemo I love You

I am not sure how long did it take but I guess 6 hours top. Yeah, the song from Kasane Teto kinda addictive. So I created another Fukkireta madness with Tachibana Kanade or Tenshi of Angel Beats! as the subject. Initially I was thinking to create something for the upcoming month of Ramadhan and also Eid Al-Fitr. Just like the last time. Tho, after spending up some time tracing up the images with Illustrator, touching up images with Photoshop and created a video using Premier, I ended up uploaded the finished product unto YouTube which you can watch them below.

Miku Commands You to Vote for Malaysia!

By maskawaih, July 22, 2010 11:02 AM
Vote for Malaysia, you motherfucker!

Vote for Malaysia, you motherfucker!

Hear that lads? Vote for Malaysia goddamn it! Go to this Hatsune Miku World Tour site, post comment at the first blog post and make sure your text field for Country is written as Malaysia. We need more than 10,000 signatures. We do not condone any act of treason by putting in other than that. Any perpetrators that lead to the demise of the results will be hunt to the end of the world and the punishment will be skinning while you’re still live. Your skins will be made into kompang or rebana so that we could replace drums as musical instruments. Your bones will be turned into drum sticks. Your blood vessels will be used for guitar strings. Your ribs will be made as piano keys.

Hatsune Miku World Tour

Hatsune Miku World Tour

*back to normal* Oh, well. It seems that SEGA would like to have Hatsune Miku World Tour concerts to be held in various places in the world. The site link given above will be used to gather votes from different countries where any countries that have more than 10,000 votes will be chosen by SEGA as candidates for the tour.

I am not really a fan of Vocaloid (especially the voices though I am fine with others) plus the concert would likely to be something like a virtual singer singing on the stage with actual band plays at the back. But I would be really really love to have such concert to be made available in Malaysia. I don’t mind to pay just to get a chance getting in a hall for something like this. It’s gonna be fun.

Bon Odori 2010 Shah Alam

By maskawaih, July 21, 2010 3:04 AM
There were only few people at the beginning...

There were only few people at the beginning...

So I went to this Japanese cultural festival called Bon Odori which was held at Matsushita Stadium in Shah Alam last Saturday. As the event gonna be started at 5.00 PM, ultimaweaponx, yafex and I planned to go to Czero’s house in Shah Alam earlier. Well, the plan was to gather/park at his place and ride a bus from KTM station there to the stadium with others and we would like to use a new highway that partially being opened for public use namely SKVE. Around 4.00 PM, we departed from ultima’s house at Seri Kembangan all the way to SKVE. Of course that the new highway paths haven’t being applied to any existing GPS application as of yet, so it’s like a gamble that we might getting lost on the way. While we had minor detours because of lack of GPS data maps, we managed to arrive at Shah Alam pretty earlier than what we might achieve if we used the usual way through LDP, Federal or whatever the highway name was. What’s more, as soon as we exited the highway connected to ELITE highway, we immediately saw the entrance to the stadium so we decided to go there instead of going to the gathering place. The journey took about 30 minutes but we spent another 30 minutes to find parking place for my car and also strolling through from the car park to the stadium.

K-On! Live Event ~Let’s Go!~

By maskawaih, July 15, 2010 5:04 PM
:P

:P

K-On! Live Event ~Let’s Go!~ was the concert that was held in Yokohama Arena at the end of last year in Japan. A concert dedicated to the fans of K-On! from seiyuu of the characters. Not really sure how many were there during the concert but it is said that the capacity of the arena is 17,000. It’s safe to say that the visitor counts are around that. While I wasn’t there in the concert but I just ordered the Blu-ray copy of it from Amazon Japan :3

Azunyan :3

I decided to buy this off from the site because it’s Blu-ray, man. Well, what kind of shitty excuse was that? lol. Anyway, this Blu-ray of K-On! has became the best selling music Blu-ray in Japan so far with 22,000 copies sold in a week. I wasn’t included as one of the fags that made the record breaking though because I ordered my copy a bit later. The record even surpassed the previous record of Namie Amuro Blu-ray selling; 14,000 in a week and 21,000 copies altogether from last September. Record doesn’t mean anything much but I can conclude from here that many otaku in Japan do have Blu-ray players such as PS3. An otaku might have a PS3 to play games as well unlike normalfag. So it is normal for anime stuffs to be popular in Blu-ray format.

Bad Apples are looking for vocal(s)

By maskawaih, July 11, 2010 10:36 PM
Wanna sing together with us?

Wanna sing together with us?

Sup guys. Our anime song band, Bad Apples is looking for a new female vocal(s). Ideally, we would like to have someone nearby, let say, Kajang or Putrajaya, but we welcome anyone within Klang Valley. Previously, we performed at GACC 2010 and recently at MAGe. If you have any query about this matter, you might reach us at LowYat.NET forum or tell to me directly on MSN. In the mean time, I would like to ask for your help to tell your friends or anyone interested with this. This is a non-profit band but we might give you some basic lesson for playing with musical instruments (guitar, bass, drum, keyboard).

Cheers.

Virginity, Purity, Whatever…

By maskawaih, July 5, 2010 5:00 AM

Well, someone asked at a certain popular website in the world about this purity thing. Yeah, what’s with certain people obsession with the female character in any anime to have purity? Before I go deep with that question, how about we look at what’s the meaning of it. When people were blessed with new anime series that mainly have their characters designed to please the viewers mainly from males, it is usually to give false hope for this hopeless people with their imaginary beings. The booming of this anime materials from Japan led the otaku to another level that normal people might be unable to comprehend. As we all know that Star Wars gave the world a new meaning of figurine collection and it is normal for other kind of entertainment to proceed with such success over their own. But it was never thought by people previously sculpting a mere plastic models of sexy female characters like what we have now. It is not limited to figurines. It went over to other stuffs like mug or that infamous pillow cover, dakimakura. The affection of these people with these virtual characters has risen to another level. It’s the very details of those characters themselves.

Fighter Aircraft Girls of World War II

By maskawaih, July 4, 2010 9:19 PM

How to attract people, especially otaku, to learn more about a subject? Make them moe. Previously, there was a book about nations of the world with a moefied girl representing each country. Mecha musume isn’t something new. But when a selected topic being represented in moe form, it becomes interesting. Consider this as something similar to Strike Witches but more in-depth and accurate information.

The book provides more than 50 planes illustrated, moe-ly. So here I show some of the famous planes.

Windows Live Messenger for iPhone

By maskawaih, June 30, 2010 12:50 PM

Yep, Windows Live Messenger is now available on Apple iPhone. Launched a week ago, it took only 5 days to reach 1 million of downloads. As an ardent user of both iPhone and Messenger, I am delighted with this announcement and immediately downloaded and tried it. This is an engineered plan behind Hotmail, Messenger and Windows Live called Messenger Connect (Beta). Like any usual marketing hype, Messenger Connect is being told to us that it allows users to communicate, share, and connect with their Messenger friends on other websites with its flexible, yet prescriptive set of APIs to help create intuitive bla bla bla stuffs. Usual stuffs. In short, it’s just another form of Twitter or Facebook being attached along with internet messenger and email functions. With that being said, your statuses on your Messenger is now acting like Twitter statuses that will be updated on your Live page every time you changed it. It has been that way since before Twitter but nobody seemed to care about it until Twitter. To put it simply, Twitter is more accessible on universal browsers rather than limited availability of Windows Live Messenger application  on Windows operating systems. Well, there’s Messenger for Mac but it sucks badly that nobody bothers to use it. Exactly, what makes this Messenger is so awesome?

Bad Apples @ MAGe 2010

By maskawaih, June 27, 2010 7:42 PM

So, our band went to Nilai University College in Nilai, Negeri Sembilan (hell, nowhere that near to Seremban as they said) for MAGe Festa 2010 on Saturday, June 27. Nothing much that I can say about this event. One could tell that this is somewhat a small event. Few crowds. Well, I can tell NUC isn’t a big college but being an area that situated a little bit far from the town of Nilai, some people might have transportation problem to the place. The student representative dude being funny by saying that if the event was held during weekdays, more students would come. Oh yeah? We are outsiders, duh. No way in the hell we would sacrifice our working days going there and most cosplayers were from other places. Anyway, Bad Apples band was there to perform anime songs. Initially, there were a lot of problems we faced. For instance, our female vocalist, Nacchan, had sore throat and that’s madness. We had to do some quick alterations and we even called some reinforcements. yafex was trying to sing God Knows and Lost My Music medley. For Don’t Say Lazy and Listen!! we’re glad to get help from Yuki (many thanks Yuki). Of all, myclamyra considered the show was better than our last one at GACC. Now, for some pictures of MAGe. Pictures of our band on the stage was courtesy of my friend, WiseFreeman. Thanks, bro!
